It was an honor to spend my weekend with such beautiful, prestigious Black Women! I learned so much and will definitely take heed to everything I experienced and learned. Sharon, you are truly amazing! To have accomplished so much and still manage to maintain a great sense of humor, you go DIVA! Lynn, words cannot express how I feel, but I will say this....I am truly blessed to have met your acquaintance in 1985! You are an inspiration and joy to have in my life. To all of the other beautiful ladies that were apart of this weekends WEALTH Retreat, my daughters and I thank you for sharing your personal and professional knowledge with us! I look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Dear Lynn: Let me begin by saying thank you. The retreat touched me in so many ways. I want you to know how much I needed to be there and how much I received. First of all, there is no value that can be placed on the benefits gained from simply being in the presence of so many God-fearing, positive, successful black women. There is a spirit, a heightened sense that moves throughout the room that my small vocabulary cannot accurately describe. You can feel the love and concern that exists as we ask and answer questions relating to either ourselves or those we love.
Next, though we may have attended motivational seminars, church on Sunday or held conversations, there is nothing like being in one place where the sole purpose is to better ourselves, and the information being shared comes from those who look like us! Each woman on the agenda shared in their own manner. Some were humorous, some more subdued but each interested in my (making it personal) getting more out of life.
I don't want to make this too long but I do want to say that I thank you for the vision. Not only the vision, but I thank you for having the will to follow-through with your vision. Events of this kind tend to have the effect of skipping stones on water. There is a ripple that is formed and no one knows how many people will be touched by those who attended. I love you with the love of Jesus!

I just want to thank you again for treating me to the retreat. Tell your big sis that I'm on it! I have my index cards posted up all over my room and bathroom with my goals and my fiance and I are getting prepared for our future in real estate.
